Excess DoD Personal Property Resources for Law Enforcement Agencies

The federal government offers two programs that assist agencies in procuring much needed crime fighting equipment. The 1033 Program offers surplus federal equipment to local law enforcement agencies. The 1122 Program allows agencies to purchase drug interdiction equipment at greatly reduced prices.

The New Mexico State Coordinator for these programs is Deputy Chief Randall Bertram. He can be reached by phone at: 827-9104, fax: 827-3395 Address: PO Box 1628 Santa Fe NM 87504-1628 email: Randall.Bertram@state.nm.us.

We invite you to take a moment to review additional information on these programs and see if your agency might benefit from their assistance.
